Sonic 2 HD

Have any of you of you guys heard about Sonic 2 HD?

When they finally finish this it's going to be awesome. It's amazing what determined fans can do...

Yes, I have! Even a member of the Sonic Retro site as well. It looks awesome, especially with all the sprites I've seen of it so far. Can't wait till the finish this.

I loved the Sonic Megamix they made, too. Man, when that communtiy really gets together, amazing things happen!

I saw this before,but it will take a long time for it to be done because its a community project. People are not getting paid to do it and they have a life.Want a good example of this, look at Sonic Robo Blast 2.I also hope this doesn't die out and end up uncomplete.

They finished Megamix! A bit glitchy on some loops, but playable and fun! Especially since Mighty has special moves.

I hope this game does get finished!

True but there are more unfinished fan games than finished ones. All I'm saying is that fan games take alot of time to be finished.

I know. I wish that wasn't the case. Fangames can throw just as much hype to other fans as much as an actual game.

Sonic Retro is known for getting what they want done, though. Let's hope that they really do their best and get this one finished. They seem excited working on this, so it seems likely.

mighty was in megamix?

Yup. Go to Options. Or somewhere. I forget. I think its options. Anywho, it'll bring you to a screen sorta like the character select screen in Sonic 2. Select your character there. You get to choose from...

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Mighty, and Shadow.

However, I don't see S2HD being released till about another year or so. It seems they like to take their time with things like this (when their not at each other's throats about what to change/get rid of/add ect...)

Megamix is great, but there was a few glitches here and there. I'm glad they're still editing it out.

Yeah...I don't think S2HD will come out for awhile either. I mean...look at all the features they will have! Not to mention, they're still not even done with all the sprites. It'll be awhile.

They are assuring that this won't be abandoned, and that it will have a release eventually.
